The story and serving suggestions
A sparkling Piedirosso born in the Vesuvius National Park, among black sands and lapilli that give tension and aromatic cleanliness: slight tannin, crisp fruit and that mineral vein that signs volcanic wines. On the nose it is joyful and subtle: blood orange, wild strawberries, a hint of pomegranate and a delicate spice. In the mouth, the foam is creamy and fine, the sip is smooth and fresh, with a savory trace that lengthens the drink and leaves the palate clean. A convivial and immediate sparkling red, perfect from aperitif to pizza and everyday dishes. Serve well chilled (10–12 °C) to enhance its agility and fragrance.
Suggested pairings
Perfect with pizza (Margherita, Marinara, Diavola), Neapolitan fried foods (croquettes, arancini, frittatine), platters of cured meats and young cheeses, eggplant parmesan, meatballs in sauce and Piennolo tomato dishes. In Nero Vesuviano style: pasta with Piennolo (puree/powder), friarielli in oil and bruschetta with vegetable creams.
Why Nero Vesuviano
