Inside the product.
The story and serving suggestions
From the vineyards in the Madonna delle Gavete area, on Mount Somma in the Vesuvius National Park, at 400 m a.s.l., a Catalanesca is born with a crisp and territorial character. On the nose, it is elegant: notes of broom flowers, citrus trails, yellow peach, and wild herbs. The palate is smooth, full of freshness, with a clean and savory finish that calls for a second glass.
Recommended Pairings
Perfect with baccalà (salt cod) and stockfish, fish in general, and especially oily fish (anchovies, mackerel, bonito, skipjack tuna). Excellent with fried small fish, raw and marinated seafood, mozzarella and fresh cheeses, grilled vegetables, white pizza. When paired with Nero Vesuviano Preserves (Piennòlo tomatoes, friarielli, vegetable creams), it enhances the mineral component and the freshness of the sip.
Why at Cantina Nero Vesuviano
